ABOUT LIONS CLUB

Lions Club International

Service is more than the sum of our collective deeds — it is the wellspring of our heart. As Lions and Leos, we serve to see our communities inspired, equipped, and transformed. We believe that even the greatest challenges can be overcome by the power of kindness.

When caring people join together, roll up their sleeves and take action to make their community better, it’s a beautiful thing—and an incredible feeling for everyone involved. That’s Lions. Being a Lion is about leading by example, building relationships and improving the world through kindness. It’s 1.4 million caring men and women serving together so they can make a lasting impact and change more lives.

With all that’s going on this week with the Santa routes and Christmas Fayre at the Festival hall this Saturday I nearly forgot that our Market Rasen lions Club Book Stall on Sunday at the Hemswell indoor Market 0700- 1300 is still going strong. I know the weather doesn’t look good but as the name suggests it’s indoors where it’s dry and it’s worth a trip out. We’ve got 1000’s of books for all tastes and ages. So if you want to find some decent books at reasonable prices this is the place to go or if you have quality books you wish to donate drop them off and look for more reading material
