I’m writing on behalf of the team of Foodbank volunteers to express our thanks to the Market Rasen Lions Club for their generous donation. We are particularly glad to be able to shop for additional fresh food supplies to add to the tinned and packaged goods which are donated by the public and Church members. We are currently preparing an average of 130 parcels a month and approximately half of these go to families with children. The following is a quotation from a thankyou message received recently from a young mother of three children, who was about to return to work after maternity leave. “Thankyou so much for all your help over the past few months, it’s been very much appreciated at a time when there was no other help available to us.” We are privileged to be able to help in this way. Thank you for your support. Thank you so much for your kind donation towards our Christmas Meal for those in our community who are lonely and isolated this Christmas.

I am writing to thank you and members of The Market Rasen Lions Club for your kind donation! This money will go into our Community Fund which will help to restock our food supplies and provide additional support to those in our local community who are finding it difficult to provide in the short term for their families. We supply approximately 18 food parcels on a weekly basis but are asked to support from time to time individuals with small financial assistance. Your support will help us meet these needs

Dear Lis and all members of Market Rasen Lions, Thank you so much for collecting at Tesco on 23rd February as well as organising the book sale at the market street collection on 26th March. Your collections raised a fantastic amount! The money raised will help our local nurses care for more people living with a terminal illness in their own homes over the coming year in your local area. Every £20 provides an hour of Marie Curie Nursing care, and the service is totally free to patients and their families. Thank you for helping us to continue to provide our services completely free to patients and their families in your neighbourhood. At its heart, Charcot-Marie-Tooth UK is about helping people affected by Charcot-Marie-Tooth disease in the UK, so it was with deep gratitude that we received your very kind donation. This donation will directly help other people with CMT lead happier, less isolated lives.
